How CustomerLabs Can Help me, Edition 1.
Helloooo,
So the other day, someone dropped a beautifully blunt question in our chat:
"I just want to understand how exactly your platform works and can help me generate better results through performance marketing in laymen language.. no marketing jargon."
We loved it. So here's our promise: a series, one idea per email, zero jargon, zero showing off.
First up, the unglamorous-but-everything one: tracking.
The setup.
You run ads. Someone clicks. They fill a form. Meta and Google "see" that a lead came in, using a bit of code in the person's browser.
But browsers today block a big chunk of that. Ad blockers, privacy settings, all of it. Ad blockers, ITP, and browser restrictions eat your conversions.
So the platforms see a partial picture of who actually clicked and converted. And then they go spend your budget chasing more people based on that partial picture. Not ideal.
The one thing CustomerLabs does today:
We move the tracking off the fragile browser and onto a server too.

Servers don't get blocked the way browsers do, so the lead signal arrives clean and complete. Server-side tracking plus the Conversions API sends cleaner, richer signals directly to the ad platforms.
And the part lead gen folks will love later in this series: if a customer called your sales team or converted through a CRM deal, that data comes in too. But that's a whole edition of its own - patience. 😄
Why it matters to you:
Straight from the platforms themselves. Meta says businesses running the Conversions API alongside the pixel see a 13% improvement in cost per result on average. Google says enhanced conversions deliver an average of 5% more conversions measured.
Translation: when the platforms actually see what's happening, they stop guessing with your money.
That's today's single idea. Clean, complete tracking, so the picture Meta and Google work from is the real one, not the blocked one.
Next edition: We do a more advanced level of tracking, called the 1P Domain tracking.

Until the next one,
P.S. None of this changes your ads. It changes the quality of the signal your platforms learn from. That's the whole game.
