New destination live in CustomerLabs. Real-time CRM stages to X Ads.

Your closed-won deals never reach X. That's fixed now.

Hellooo,

Quick product update, and the problem behind it.

The problem

Median B2B sales cycle is 84 days. Ad platform click windows are measured in single digits.

So the conversion you actually care about - deal closed, value attached, lands weeks after any click identifier has expired. The algorithm never learns which campaign produced it. It only ever saw the form fill on day zero, so it goes and finds more form fills.

Every lead gen team knows this. Most have solved it on Google and Meta by now. Almost nobody has solved it on X, because almost nobody realised X could.

It can. X's own documentation says the Conversion API tracks offline conversion events, the ones that start online and finish somewhere else. And X matches conversions on any one of three identifiers: the click ID, a hashed email, or a hashed phone number. Any single one is sufficient.

Which means Closed-Won on day 42, carrying nothing but the contact's email, is a matchable conversion.

The only route most teams had was the manual CSV upload sitting in Ads Manager. Export Friday, algorithm learns Monday, Tuesday's deal waits four days to become a signal. Same reason you abandoned that on Google.

The update here is

X Ads is now a destination in CustomerLabs. Server-side conversion events from your 1PD Ops layer into X's Conversions API, CRM stage changes included, in real time.

Send qualified_lead when your SDR marks it. demo_booked when they show. opportunity_created. deal_won with value attached.

Audience sync isn't live yet. X hasn't opened it up.

One honest note

Connecting to X got easier in June - they shipped a GTM integration for Pixel and CAPI, a consolidated CAPI hub, and real-time diagnostics. Getting a pipe to X isn't the hard part any more.

Getting the right thing through it still is. GTM forwards events. It won't decide which CRM stages are worth sending, stitch identity across the four systems your funnel touches, or keep the click ID alive from ad to landing page to form a tool to CRM.

Worth testing?

X started a phased rollout of a rebuilt, AI-powered ads platform at the end of April. Sensor Tower data confirms the big advertisers returned, with software now at 12% of US spend.

It won't replace Google - about half of Twitter's 2021 ad scale, roughly $2.46B this year per eMarketer. The small test is the right size. But run it on CRM-stage signals, not form fills, or you'll spend six weeks confirming that a new algorithm is very good at finding form-fillers.

P.S. Reply "TWCLID" and I'll guide you on how to hash identifiers properly, and how to keep the click ID alive across your funnel instead of losing it at the first domain hop.
