Appbrew app events, now in CustomerLabs
Track what shoppers do in your Appbrew mobile app in CustomerLabs, alongside your website.
Hello,
If your Shopify store has a mobile app built with Appbrew, some of your shoppers browse and buy in the app instead of on your site. Until now, that activity stayed outside CustomerLabs, so your customer data and the data your ad platforms receive were missing the app.
CustomerLabs now connects with Appbrew. Once you connect it, CustomerLabs receives events from your app. There's no code to write: you enter your CustomerLabs account ID in Appbrew and click Connect.
Why it helps
See app activity next to your website. Product views, searches, add to cart, checkout, purchases and app installs on Android and iOS arrive in CustomerLabs, next to your website and Shopify data.
Know who your app shoppers are. Login and sign-up events pass the shopper's identity to CustomerLabs along with their app activity.
Attribute app events to your ad platforms. Use the app events in your CustomerLabs workflows, so Meta and Google get what happens in your app, not just on your site.
No developer needed. You connect it from inside Appbrew with your CustomerLabs account ID. That's it. No single line code needed.
Unify the sessions between website and app. Merge the sessions of users visiting the website and app.
How to set it up
Before you start, you need Appbrew installed on your Shopify store with your app set up. If you don't use Appbrew yet, install it from the Shopify App Store and set up your app first.
In your Shopify admin, go to Sales channels and open Mobile App Builder - Appbrew.
Click More > Integrations.
Search for CustomerLabs and click Connect.

Copy your account ID from CustomerLabs and paste it into the CustomerLabs App ID field.
All event toggles are on by default, so leave them as they are. If your Meta catalog uses variant IDs as content IDs, turn on Use Variant ID as product_id.

Click Connect.
That's it. CustomerLabs starts receiving events from your app.
